46% of Republicans….

….in Mississippi believe that interracial marriage should be illegal according to a new public poll.

Dear Mississippi,

What one black man and one white woman do in the comfort of their own home with a video camera to put on the internet is their business!!!  Oh….married.  Ummmmm really?  People have a problem with that still?  Do they realize by them being so against interracial relationships/marriage that they are essentially throwing their daughters onto a black penis for a “I have daddy issues” sex romp?

People is People is People.  In fact I plan to impregnate ever race with my DeFranco babies.  If you would like to volunteer to have my babies please send your resume to thenationissexy@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

Philip DeFranco

  1. Tom Guthrie says:

I live in Mississippi. And might I say: about 40% of people here probably didn’t understand the question…. nonetheless understand the term ‘interracial marriage’

The other 6% are good ole southerners who still think its fucking 1890.

  2. f35caleb says:

Ummm… What poll was this? I have a great feeling that this is a highly skewed statistic. If you had said same-sex marriages, I would believe you. But not interracial marriages.

    • Katie says:

No, trust me, people living in the year 2011 in the United States think like this. They also believe that they won the Civil War (or should have) they call it the “War of Northern Aggression” I’m not even joking.

      • Andrew Lawton says:

The War of Northern Aggression is actually in Georgia Public School text books. This is not limited to Mississippi

      • William says:

No, they joke about “the War of Northern Agression.” No one really believes that the south won, or that the south should have. That’s just a myth started by the Beverly Hillbillies, but nice try making me and mine look ignorant. (I’m from Alabama.) I’ll have to add it to the list after “southerners don’t wear shoes in the summer.” Odds are the sample size for this poll was very limited and on purpose. It’s like only asking dentists at an I Love Trident Convention if they recommend chewing Trident. Whomever organized this poll guaranteed the results will say what they wanted before even asking any questions.

It amazes me that people are still this narrow minded.

  4. Alyssa says:

I will be sending my application shortly.

  5. It is kinda sad that people still have this mentality years after we have some so far as a people (Not just black but everyone), but then again this is Mississippi so what can you really expect.
I am down for the cause since I am black I am gonna meet as many of the daughters as I can so i can be sitting on the couch when daddy comes home from work (eating chicken and watermelon while I’m at it).

  6. Chase says:

@F35 Dude. Have you been here before for more than just a visit? This does not surprise me at all.

  7. Sageless says:

This poll is definitely skewed. I’ll need to see how it was coducted, what kind of questions, how many people etc.

  8. Where did you find the people in this pole? I’m going to guess Jackson, Biloxi, and Philadelphia. Why does anyone care what race someone is anyway? They’re not bringing about the end of the world and they’re not telling you how to spend your money, what to eat, or who to screw. So leave ’em be and tend to your own problems because God knows you’ve got some. Take care & God bless =oD

  9. uhmanduh says:

really this doesnt surprise me people are very narrow minded and its true that i am disappointed by seeing this but i live in cali and not planning to move to Mississippi anytime soon

  10. Saeix says:

I seriously don’t believe this is a real poll. But, hell, on the off chance it is real – look at the stupidly small scope. (Less than half the people who answered, and identified with a specific political party, said this crazy thing.) I’d like to see the general data – who didn’t answer, the results of other political party supporters and how they polled/what they asked.

Not to mention that “republican” is implied to mean “white” in this poll; a state with a 36.66% black population most likely had a few of the people answering this poll saying that they’d hate for their children to end up with a white person.

    Both ways, I think it’s a fake.

  11. Pie says:

The suace is gone… I wanted to see were this is, because it definatly sounds skewed.

  12. Stephen says:

Well, that percentage can kiss my ass. I’ve got a black girlfriend and I intend to make her my wife and I’ve already had sex with her. If that’s a real poll, then they can shove it. Oh well, not really planning on moving there anyway.
